By using Day01.AI, you agree to these terms. We give you a personalized AI learning experience. You agree to use it for legitimate learning, not break the law with it, and not abuse the AI capacity. The first 30 days of managed-tier AI generation are on us at no cost. After that, you can switch to Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) mode using your own AI provider key, or wait for paid wallet top-ups (coming soon).
Day01.AI is built and operated by the Day01 team. The Service is the application at day1.quest plus its open-source codebase at github.com/Khizergenfox/dayoneai.
Day01.AI delivers daily personalized AI-generated learning content tailored to your role and industry. Each user gets:
Managed tier(default for new accounts): we cover your AI generation costs for the first 30 days. After 30 days, you’ll need to either: (a) switch to Bring-Your-Own-Key mode using your own AI provider API key, or (b) top up your wallet on the Service. Wallet top-ups are not yet enabled — we’ll announce when they are.
Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK): you provide your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google API key. Your browser calls the AI provider directly. You pay your AI provider directly at their rates; Day01.AI takes zero margin on this.
The Service includes platform-wide spend caps and per-user rate limits to protect against abuse and runaway cost. These are enforced silently and may change.
You agree NOT to:
Violations may result in account suspension or termination, with data preserved per §10.
Anything you input — your profile, your bio, your mentor messages — remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process it solely to deliver the Service to you. We don’t claim ownership of your inputs and we don’t share your content with other users or train models on it.
AI-generated content (lessons, mentor replies, news summaries) is provided “as is” and may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or out-of-date information. Treat it as a learning aid, not as professional advice. Day01.AI is not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
The codebase is MIT-licensed and available at GitHub. You’re free to inspect, fork, and self-host.
By you: visit Settings → Danger Zone → “Delete account”. This is irreversible. We retain only your email and a deletion timestamp in our audit log.
By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate §6 (acceptable use). We’ll notify you by email when we do, and we’ll preserve your data for 30 days before purging in case you wish to dispute the suspension.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or that the AI will always understand your context perfectly. We do our best.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Day01.AI’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. While the Service is free, that amount is zero. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
We’ll update the “Last updated” date when we change anything material. For significant changes — like introducing paid plans — we’ll notify all active users via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
